We do not require an account to use QuickVid, so we don't collect names, emails, or passwords. When you submit a video URL, we temporarily process that URL and the resulting media metadata solely to fulfill your download request. We may log anonymized technical data (such as IP address and timestamps) for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and debugging.
How we use information
Data submitted to QuickVid is used only to detect the platform, retrieve media information, and generate your download. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention
Downloaded files are streamed directly to your device and are not permanently stored on our servers. Any temporary files created during processing are deleted immediately after your download completes or fails.
Cookies
We use minimal local storage to remember your theme preference (light, dark, or system). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third-party content
QuickVid retrieves publicly available media from third-party platforms at your request. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of that media, and we are not affiliated with the platforms we support.
Your rights
